Troi File Plug-in is a very powerful tool for getting access to information outside the FileMaker Pro database. Any files stored on the rest of the computer can be accessed through the functions of the plug-in.

Drag and drop: files ànd folders

Troi File Plug-in 4.5.x allows you to drag one or more files or folders on a FileMaker window or even a drop zone. The paths of the dropped items can then be handled by a triggered script, for example to put them in a container field.

Create thumbnails!

With Troi File Plug-in you can create thumbnails in various sizes:

With Troi File plug-in you can let users select a file or folder, and list the contents of a folder.

Manage your media

With Troi File Plug-in you can completely manage your images and movies all from within FileMaker! You can retrieve image width height, Exif data like shutter time and IPTC meta data like the description (caption) of the image.
