Summary

Running plug-ins with FileMaker Pro 16

In general all our plug-ins that worked with FileMaker Pro 15 still work with FileMaker Pro 16. A new feature of FileMaker Pro 16 is that plug-ins can add script steps as well as external functions. It is now also possible to provide on-line help for plug-in functions and script steps directly from FileMaker Pro. All plug-ins need to be rewritten to make use of these new features. Please see below for an overview of all Troi plug-ins and their compatibility with FileMaker Pro 16.

The same plug-in architecture

The plug-in architecture has not changed in FileMaker 16. So there is no need to change your function calls when converting to FileMaker 16.
