NotesAutoUpdate sees different filenamesAutoUpdate treats the filenames quite restrictive. For example:
To make this work you need to create 2 sets of folders with the correct name, one for Mac and one for Windows. See the screenshot. For future plug-ins we hope to make it possible to have one folder only. We already did this for Troi_Encryptor. Mac OS X plug-ins only: plug-ins need to be in TAR formatMac OS X plug-ins only: The plug-ins need to be formatted in .tar format. See our web site on this page: http://www.troi.com/software/autoupdate.html. On this page we strive to supply the latest plug-in in .tar format. You can also do this (on Mac OS X) with the tar utility of the Terminal. For example type this in the Terminal window: tar --create --file Troi_File.fmplugin.tar Troi_File.fmplugin This will create the tar file Troi_File.fmplugin.tar from the real plug-in in the current folder. Change the records to your needWe have created a few records in the example file, with the data for the Troi File Plug-in, Troi Text Plug-in and Troi Dialog Plug-in. You need to change this according to your situation. Also when we release new plug-ins you might need to add a record for that plug-in.
