Troi ASCII Table™ 2.1

Troi ASCII Table is copyright 1998-2009 of Troi Automatisering. All rights reserved (March 24th, 2009).

Thank you for your interest in this ASCII database. This free FileMaker Pro file contains all 256 ASCII characters in separate records. You can use this FileMaker database to find or identify specific ASCII characters (and also the first 128 Unicode characters as they are the same).

Use it with serial devices and Troi Serial Plug-in

With Troi Serial Plug-in you can read from and write to a serial device directly from within FileMaker Pro. This ASCII.fp7 database allows you to find the ASCII control characters that might be needed to be sent to control the device, like for example the code to open a cash register.
You can easily generate any ASCII character with the Serial_AsciiValueToText function of Troi Serial Plug-in, which was also used to generate the records in the ASCII.fp7 file.

Use it to export (exotic) file formats with Troi File Plug-in

With Troi File Plug-in you can create (and read) files on disk in any format from FileMaker Pro. The ASCII.fp7 database allows you to find the ASCII characters that you need to use for formatting the wanted export format. You can also easily generate any ASCII character with the TrFile_AsciiValueToText function of Troi File Plug-in.
