FileMaker Pro 8 Compatibility
(Page updated: October 16th, 2006)
Note: We are working on Universal versions of our plug-ins which will run natively on both PowerPC and Intel-based Mac computers. We expect to release them soon after a universal binary version of FileMaker Pro itself is released.
In general all our plug-ins that worked with FileMaker 7 still work in FileMaker 8. We have not found many issues. See below for the details on specific plug-ins.
The same plug-in architecture
Note that the plug-in architecture has not changed in FileMaker 8. So there is no need to change any function calls when converting to FileMaker 8 (as compared to the change in plug-in architecture introduced in FileMaker Pro 7).
