The plug-in will beep if data arrives at the serial port. Use this function to troubleshoot the serial port and test scripting.

Example
Beep for Serial Data [ On ]The plug-in will now beep when data arrives at the serial port. If data keeps on coming in, the plug-in will beep every two seconds.
How to test if data comes in:
– Set the plug-in to beep if data comes in.
– Get the device attached to the serial port to send data to the serial port.
– When you hear beeps you know data is arriving at the serial port and in the plug-in.
– To stop the beeping use this command:
